The number is 13 1126 from anywhere in Australia (0800 764 766 in New Zealand) and is available at all times. Have this SDS with you when you call. Inhalation: If mists have been inhaled, and irritation has developed, rem ove to fresh air and observe until recovered. If irritation becomes painful or persists for more than about 30 minutes, seek medical advice Skin Contact: Wash affected areas with water until chemical is removed. Remove all contaminated clothing and launder before re - use . If in doubt obtain medical advice. Eye Contact: Immediately irrigate with copious amounts of lukewarm , gently flowing water for 15 – 20 minutes or until the product is removed or irritation has ceased, while holding the eyelid(s) open. Ob tain medical advice if irritation becomes painful or lasts more than a few minutes. Ingestion: Give a glass of water if affected person able to drink. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by medical advice. Notes to Doctor: Treat symptomatica lly. Section 5 - Fire Fighting Measures Fire and Explosion Hazards : The major hazard in fires is usually inhalation of heated and toxic or oxygen deficient (or both), fire gases. There is no risk of an explosion from this product under normal circumstances if it is involved in a fire. Only small quantities of decomposition products are expected from this product at temperatures normally achieved in a fire. This will only occur after heating to dryness. Fire decomposition products from this product are lik ely to be irritating if inhaled. Extinguishing Media: Not combustible. Use extinguishing media suited to burning materials. Fire Fighting: If a significant quantity of this product is involved in a fire, call the fire brigade. Flash point: Does not bur n. Upper Flammability Limit: Does not burn. Lower Flammability Limit: Does not burn. Flammability Class: Does not burn. Section 6 - Accidental Release Measures Accidental release: In the event of a major spill, prevent spillage from entering drains or w ater courses. As a minimum, wear overalls, goggles and gloves. Stop leak if safe to do so, and contain spill. Absorb onto sand, vermiculite or other suitable absorbent material. Sweep up and shovel or collect recoverable product into labelled containers fo r recycling or salvage. After spills, wash area preventing runoff from entering drains. If a significant quantity of material enters drains, advise emergency services. Full details regarding disposal of used containers, spillage and unused material may be found on the label. If there is any conflict between this SDS and the label, instructions on the label prevail. Dispose of only in accord with all regulations Section 7 - Handling and Storage Handling: Check Section 8 of this SDS for details of personal pr otective measures, and make sure that those measures are followed. The measures detailed below under "Storage" should be followed during handling. Also, avoid contact or contamination of product with incompatible materials listed in Section 10. Storage: S tore in a cool, dry place away from children and animals or foodstuffs . Ensure containers are labelled, protected from physical damage and sealed when not in use. Store away from farm chemicals e.g. insecticides, fungicides and herbicides. Containers shoul d be kept closed in order to minimise contamination. Keep from extreme heat and open flames, and make sure that the product does not come into contact with substances listed under "Materials to avoid" in Section 10. Section 8 - Exposure Controls and Person al Protection Exposure Limits TWA (mg/m3) STEL (mg/m3) ADI (mg/Kg/day) NOEL (mg/Kg/day) Exposure limits have not been set for any ingredients in product at the concentrations present. The TWA exposure value is the average airborne concentration of a particular substance when calculated over a normal 8 hour working day for a 5 day working week. There is a blanket limit of 10mg/m 3 for dusts or mists when limits have not otherwise been established . The term "peak "is used when the TWA limit, because of t he rapid action of the substance, should never be exceeded, even briefly . It will not accumulate in the soil or water or cause long term problems. Not e xpected to not be an environmental hazard. Section 13 - Disposal Considerations Disposal: Containers should be emptied as completely as practical before disposal. If possible, recycle product and containers either in - house or send to recycle company. If this is not practical, send to a commercial waste disposal site.
