The Grundfos NS single horizontal centrifugal pumps feature cast-iron pump bodies and composite or cast-iron impellers for a long lifetime of reliable operation. The Grundfos NS are non-self-priming pumps, suitable for a variety of applications in private dwellings and light industry. The pump features a totally enclosed, fan-cooled induction motor. The rotor is mounted on oversized greased-for-life ball bearings, ensuring silent running and long life.
Single-phase pumps have built-in overload protection and a capacitor that is permanently in circuit.
